However, the content or format of the rally may change slightly until the rally commences. The Rickshaw Challenge organisation can accept no responsibility for unforeseen events in the course of the rally that fall beyond the remit of its competence and influence. No personal loss or injury can be accepted from events resulting in the application of information from this website.

Teams
Teams may comprise of between one and three individuals. As each rickshaw has a maximum capacity of three people ( one driver and two passengers), If your group is in excess of three members you will have to split the group into smaller teams with a maximum of three members per team. Each autorickshaw may only be used by one team for the duration of the rally.
Team members are responsible for their own medications, vaccinations, and for providing confirmation of any and all medical requirements prior to the start of the event.
Maintenance and Repair
Team members are solely responsible for any fuel costs, repairs, and any other costs associated with their event vehicle. Upon collection of the autorickshaw at the start of the rally, all maintenance responsibilities lie with the team. Upon the instance of a breakdown, the teams will be responsible to procure the services of local mechanic, or contact the support staff who will provide the in-house mechanics services for an additional surcharge. In the event of a breakdown that cannot be repaired on-site, the service vehicles will transport the autorickshaw to the days end stage, where an overnight mechanic will be arranged at additional cost.
All autorickshaws are provided in full roadworthy refurbished condition, and it is the responsibility of the teams to maintain it thus.
Adopt A Village
Each team will be assigned a village under the Rickshaw Challenge Adopt-A-Village program. Each team will have to visit that village and provide medicine, toys, school supplies, children’s clothing and other items that are of importance to the team’s village. Points will be awarded on the same. Please refer to the Charity section on our website for more details.
