The first step to signing up is simple: just email us! Let the organizers know which event you’re interested in and if you have any special concerns. Once you’re ready to jump in you’ll need to submit the complete application forms and transfer the registration fee in order to confirm your place.

We recognize that some times this isn’t as simple as it sounds for teams that have members in different time zones or other common issues. But don’t worry, we’ve had enough experience with these things that you’ll be ready in no time. Once your application forms and registration fee are received you need to make sure that you will have a valid Driver’s License and a current International Driver’s Permit.

You’re also strongly encouraged to arrange for medical insurance as the insurance granted by your participation in the event is only the most basic auto coverage. We also outline a long list of items that will make the trip easier and more pleasant in the Roadbook that participants receive before the race.

When registering in Chennai before the start you need to have your €900 deposit in cash in order to pick up your rickshaw and optional local cell phone for the event. You’ll get this money back after the Challenge provided that you return everything in a same-as condition.

Or if you’ve fallen hopelessly in love with your auto rickshaw you can also choose to buy it from us. You’ll get the discounted used rate but will be responsible for all taxes, shipping and surcharges. Companies, individuals and other institutions can also purchase auto rickshaws from us without participating in an event.
